The Banker stood us up for our weekend together! And there we were all set for a boys weekend (plus me). Something about a credit crunch apparently.

We did the best we could without him – Inspector Gadget made a great chilli and we all sat down dutifully afterwards to watch Superbad. I can’t remember the last high school movie I watched, where the point is obviously to get both alcohol and laid, in whichever order brings most success.

i think I’m getting old: it took me a while to get into the film, but still a few good gags and giggles here and there. And Michael Cera (also seen in Juno) is definitely a bit of a star. The Banker would have been proud of us, holding the fort for him as we did.
