I can never go downhill skiing for many days in a row before the feeling of how surreal it all really is creeps up on me. So after Saturday’s repeated ups and downs, on Sunday we went a long way up on cross country skis to Dindalshytta, before coming all the way down again (with only one tumble!). On the way we had views over to the northernmost Dovre mountains. Once we got there, we didn’t go in but peeked in through the windows to see a lovely and very old little cabin. I hope to come back to stay one day. If you look carefully you can see Mr. Snow tucking into his sandwiches and tea on the porch!

An old tree trunk formed part of the outside banister. I found the whorls and swirls beautiful.
